About Kent Utility
Kent Utility provides utility locating through EM and GPR scanning for contractors throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Our locators identify and mark valuable infrastructure before excavation, drilling and construction work begins.
Electromagnetic locating traces conductive and traceable services. Ground penetrating radar picks up where EM can't — non-conductive pipe, concrete, and features with no tracer wire. Used together, they give a fuller picture of the work area.
Paint fades and stakes get pulled. Every assignment comes with a mapped, photo-documented locate report, so the information survives the weather and stays in your project file.
Standard public locate requests may not include privately owned infrastructure inside a project site. Private locating closes those gaps before planning goes further.
